I assume this is a cut & paste error?

    Works perfectly for me.

I took a dummy mkv file, poster and fanarts and your NFO and used exactly the naming you used.

Are you sure you have NFO priority switched on in settings?

Also, the trailer should be named correctly:

(Note there's still the bug showing fanart where ClearLogo should be if no ClearLogo is either included or available online)

So until this is fixed you should add a ClearLogo too, even if it's just a transparent PNG with nothing in it.

    Yes

Nevertheless I switches it on again and boom it was there. I wanted to change a small thing in the nfo-file and the movie was gone again. Now HT4 no longer recognises the movie. The same with some other movies.

What is going on with that box. Perhaps I should reset HT4?

Sounds like a network problem - changing something in the NFO file, even deleting the NFO, should make no difference to HT once the movie is scraped.

But yes, it's possible the database is corrupt in some way.

I have generated two different versions of a movie. I prepared the artwork and metadata with TMM. The movie is properly identified in HT4, but a single poster is displayed in the poster wall for each version. However, I would like to have one poster in which the two different versions are displayed (in the place where CD1 and CD2 are normally displayed). In my example, one Blu-ray Rip version and one DVD version. The DVD is in the folder structure.

Is this possible without having to create a collection manually?

Yes, but you need to follow the naming convention correctly.

For folder based content (BDMV etc) you name the folder, for file based content (MKV, ISO etc) you name the file.

The NFOs need to be the same name with appropriate suffixes - in the example above the names are different so cannot be tied together.

If you show me a screen shot of your file structure I can help more.

    Looks ok.

I just tried some test files - same setup - one MKV and one DVD but I did it the other way around - scraping from HT and then creating the NFO by exporting from HT.

Blue Velvet is just a random movie I chose because I don't have it in my collection.

The only difference I can see is in the nfo where I have paths defined like this:

    Code:
    <path>/Test Videos/Temp/Blue Velvet/Blue Velvet.(2#BDRip).mkv</path>
    <filenameandpath>/Test Videos/Temp/Blue Velvet/Blue Velvet.(2#BDRip).nfo</filenameandpath>
    <basepath>/Test Videos/Temp/Blue Velvet/Blue Velvet.(2#BDRip).mkv</basepath>

    <path>/Test Videos/Temp/Blue Velvet.(1#DVD)</path>
    <filenameandpath>/Test Videos/Temp/Blue Velvet.(1#DVD)/VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.nfo</filenameandpath>
    <basepath>/Test Videos/Temp/Blue Velvet.(1#DVD)</basepath>
My NFOs are attached for reference.

The specification of the path reference has not changed anything. The problem is still the same.

I have now manually scraped the DVD version. Both versions are now displayed under one poster. I then exported the NFO files for this. It is also not clear for me why it works with the exported files after resetting HT4 and not with those from TMM.
I can't see anything special in the NFO file.

I know the path hasn't changed, but the TMM version doesn't have path statements and as far as I know it has no mechanism to know about suffixes required to build multiple movies into one poster.

What is the best way then if I have movies that are not available on TMDB, for example? I can't manually scrape them in HT4 and export the NFO files.
Take the NFO files from your example and modify them manually perhaps? Is this the only way?

Only way I can think of off hand - worth asking @McBluna whether TMM can support suffixes though.

    I have another question.
Is it possible to use actor thumbs offline? It looks like Zidoo gets the thumbs from the internet as standard.

Not that I'm aware of - that'd be a nightmare to administer.

    Ok, thank you Marc.

  16. Would you happen to know if Zidoo allows multiple posters for the same movie? Say a 3d poster for the 3d version and a regular poster for the theatrical version? I am using the (1#Theatrical) (2#3D) naming convention. Thank you

That was already discussed and tested with Mark. Unfortunately it is not possible and I can't find the thread.

Would you say that this bug still hasn't been addressed? I have been adding new TV shows and movies and the Clearlogos are not showing up. The fanart is showing up there. This is for TV shows and Movies.

I think it is possible, the post I remember was from Mark
