I am trying to rip my blu-ray H264 ISO movies to the H265 4kmkv format using the Dvdfab application. There is no problem with image and sound, but yes with the PGS subtitles. With subtitles in PGS format, I select one in the subtitles menu but then they are not visible in the movie. This problem does not happen with blu-rays movies with the format UHD HEVC H265 ISO. When I rip them to H265 4kmkv format I have no problem with image, sound and subtitles. The subtitles are visible and clear. I therefore ask for your precious help in solving this problem.
This is a problem I reported to Zidoo recently. Some PGS subtitles play fine and for some reason some do not. If you have a PGS subtitle that does not display, you can convert it to an SRT text subtitle with Subtitle Edit (https://github.com/SubtitleEdit/subtitleedit) or download from one of the many subtitle sites.
