Hi, I have a X9S which is working OK from a Home Theatre perspective, but there are just a range of things which are lacking vs a Dune, or even a Firestick, and I wondered if anyone had workarounds that they use? I have several apps which I've sideloaded via a usb stick, but I'd like to use Downloader to update them, but it seems blocked from accessing certain sites. Similarly, if I use Chrome I can get to apk sites but when I download apps they say 'downloading' but never start and the system tries but always says 'unsuccessful'. There are two usb HDDs and one 3.5" drive connected via the SATA cable which work fine locally, but when added as DLNA they appear until the box is put into standby and then switched on, when one or more will go missing and they have to cleared and then added in again. Similarly, when accessing the box via FTP, although shared folders appear, most are empty with perhaps one showing the contents. Certain SMB drives remain unmounted - I have found that I need to go into the media centre before Home Theatre if I want the remote drive to be mounted, but on a couple I can no longer mount them. I have removed them and added the link back in again (with login details) but although I can see the drives when I select them it tries for a few minutes but never shows the contents. I have thought about resetting the system but the movie database is extensive and took a long time to scan and is working fine, so I was hoping for tweaks rather than ground zero. I'm sure that the later models are more user-friendly but this one is fine in general but I just need some help with the config. Thanks in advance.
