    Hello,

My desired set up for the HDMI CEC is to have:
    • TV never wakes up Zidoo - not working 100%!
    • TV turning off Zidoo
    • Zidoo waking up TV
    • Zidoo turning off TV
Zidoo is at latest version at the moment - it was upgraded approximately 2 weeks ago.

4 out of 5 cases when I turn on the TV it will wake up Zidoo as well.. is this a known bug or misconfiguration?

Please have a look at attached screenshots. Thanks!

I think Mark once said: "CEC is the devil's work and souldn't be trusted whatsoever" and i think it's pretty much true all things considered.
In my case, my TV at least once a day turns everything connected via HDMI when it's being turned on, so i think pretty much HDMI-CEC doesn't ever work as intended.

I got CEC to work exactly once on my setup, it ran for a day perfectly then everything broke and it started turning on and off randomly, receiver volume control stopped working, the tv would come on at 2am etc etc.
I have never had CEC work flawlessly, ever, with any gear on any setup.

All off and controlled by external automation now.

I have this same issue. I connected a power plug with on/off remote so that when the unit is off, I simply turn it completely off. Works good enough.

Well isn't it possible to investigate and fix those problems?

CEC is the work of the devil and should never be used.
