I followed HBO's troubleshooting guide here: https://help.hbogo.com/hc/en-us/articles/211969528-Troubleshoot-HBO-GO-on-Android-TV This was working with activation until today. My google play store is 7.1 and also will not update. I saw in another thread that with a new version of Play store the app should work. It does not. I've tried everything: restart, uninstall of hbo go, cannot find a way to update play store from appmirror etc. Please advise.
