Ok. I have the Qobuz beta app and have used it on my WiiM Pro streamer. When I signed up for the beta I listed the DMP-A6 as one of my devices. I never received any emails from Eversolo about the beta program as I did with Qobuz.

 

Who knows, has the work on launching Qobuz Connect stopped? And what can Qobuz Connect give for A6? Only playback stability? Or something can change in sound quality. For example, like Roon, which I can't buy.

 

I dumped the Qobuz beta iOS app as the Connect feature was not needed. I use the EverSolo app when using Qobuz and that’s fine for me. With the Qobuz beta app I lost gapless playback. When deleted and the regular Qobuz app was downloaded I have gapless back.

 

Before Qobuz and Eversolo launch their famous Connect, my Qobuz subscription will already have ended! It’s taking forever, and it looks like it’s going to take even longer

 

I entered the Qobuz Connect Beta yesterday, after receiving a mail from Qobuz, downloaded the Qobuz Beta app, and it works perfectly with my DMP-A6. Nothing was to be done on the Eversolo side. That means that Eversolo DMP-A6 is already 'Qobuz Connect Ready'.

You have to postulate to the Beta.

I took some time (I postulated on February the 20th), but there was no hurry

Hello HiFi and Qobuz friends, I've been testing Qobuz Connect since today. I've discovered two bugs and, of course, reported them. I just love streaming directly from the Qobuz app. It's simply fun and uplifting. Things are moving forward, and I hope that soon everyone of us will be able to use Connect to its full potential.

 

Just installed iOS Qobuz 9.0.0.0 and Qobuz Connect is now live on my DMP-A6!

 

Note that Qobuz Connect is now publicly available for everyone!

 

Is it normal to see the device's MAC address behind dmp-a6?

 

I'm seeing the MAC address as well.

I just starting using Qobuz Connect yesterday with my DMP-A6. I'm noticing a slight pause when a new track of an album starts. I'm not getting that pause when using Qobuz Connect with my WiiM Ultra in another system. Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm using a Windows 10 laptop if that matters. I just played Pink Floyd's DSOTM and it's like there's no gapless playback. But gapless playback is enabled in the settings.

 

Yes, a slight pause at the beginning of a track or slight stuttering, but of course not with every track
