Firmware-Update V 1.4.70—80#(beta)

Mine still on 1.4.32. No OTA whatsoever.

 

.76 arrived today, android app works fluidly, ios same. Had problems with the music library until yesterday, the shortcuts section in the home screen did not offer tidal and other services on the ios app. The new app interface is better than the old one. For developers, more new vu meters like this last mono black one. I understand the problems with a big update, it takes some time for everything to fall into place. I guess lol

 

I tested it again today and discovered that the screen saver (carousel) definitely didn't appear after 2 or 3 hours. I now only activate the screen saver via preview.

 

Considered opinion required please - My A6 gen 1 is still on v1.4.32 and is working well even with the new app. Having seen all the different problems with the multiple recent updates I turned off the auto search for update feature to stop me being tempted.
I almost exclusively use local media from my internal SSD with occasional Internet radio.
So, my question, is it safe to upgrade to v1.4.76 or am I going to find something not working?

I updated to v1.4.76 firmware but exiting from screen cast still crashes Eversolo Control app.

 

I haven't had this issue on v.1.4.76
Eversolo control app: 1.14.65

Try restarting the control app. Perhaps it will solve the issue for you.

 

I have same versions in use and am using Eversolo Control App in Android phone.
I have already tried restarting both control app and streamer itself but it does not help.

I did not mention here but mentioned earlier in "New Eversolo Control App - Now Available for Trial!" thread (I tried to add link here but forum considered it as spam and prevented posting it) that I am using classic style in Eversolo Control App. Another user jjb067 mentioned though that problem happened also with new style.

I tested today opening and exiting screen cast multiple times both using classic style and new style.
When using classic style exiting screen cast crashed app every time.
When using new style exiting screen cast worked fine every time.
So it might be that there are some kind of compatibility problem with classic style.

 

I've only tried it with the new style.

You can manually click the online upgrade button in the update APP.

I have a question ?. I see only five favorite songs. I have a lot more favorite songs but only 5 are shown in the latest upgrade.

 

When I do that, it says I have the latest version

 

Haha it finally showed up when I restarted. But I’d restarted like 10 times the last few days, oh well
