But you've updated to Eversolo Control v1.2.15?

Yes, it updated yesterday & was working fine until I updated the A6 firmware today.

Oh boy!!! o_O Seems lots of weird stuff going on......I think I will disconnect my A6 ME from the internet so it does not auto install any updates, or unselect the "Automatically check online upgrade" button.... Right now mine still says V1.4.32 and works just fine.........

I don't blame you. I wish I hadn't updated mine as it's completely unusable now. I'm hoping a future update fixes it

Is there any way to roll back an update?

Yes, this update is more s less a disaster.
    Also Squeeze connect has disappeared.

Rolback: Become Android developer and get the latest full version (it seems to be 1.3.30), which you can download. After that, you can update to your last working version...

Yeah I will also roll back, I guess to 1.4.60 - this one was fine for me.

  9. Ah…. I’m getting an A6 for my birthday on Sunday. Can I prevent this update from installing? Not having gapless is a non negotiable.

Sure, you just click on "cancel" and not "update". But this message will show up everytime you boot up the A6, if "automatically check online upgrade" is enabled, you can disable this in the settings though.

It will also show you to which version it wants to update to, as long as you don't update to 1.4.70 or .75 you should be fine regarding the gapless playback issue.

  11. Thanks. Can I use older firmware with the new app though? That’s already on my iPhone!

    min 1.4.60

  13. Ah.. that might well be a problem then

Depending on which version the A6 comes out of the box with you can upgrade safely to 1.4.32. Then you download the "v1.4.32 to v1.4.60" package for the A6 from McBluna's site, copy it on a memory stick, connect it to the A6 and manually upgrade to 1.4.60.

Maybe you're in luck and it is fixed until you get your A6, then you don't need to do that.

No offense to the Eversolo IT team but do they test the firmware updates before releasing them? It's not a good look to have this many issues with subsequent firmware update releases. It's to the point that I will not update the firmware of my DMP-A6 till it's been fully tested and reviewed by members here.

  16. Thanks. I unboxed it when it arrived a couple of weeks ago and updated it then but can’t remember what to. Will have a look at that site.

Ah you already got it, great. When you updated it a couple of weeks ago you should be on 1.4.32.

Mine won’t let me update regardless. I’m on version .32 and it says I’m already up to date
