I have now v 1.5.62 on my A8 and Eversolo added a nice new VU meter which looks great and very good to use in the dark room for an evening listening sessions.

 

I received the v1.5.62 two days ago on my A6 Gen2. Has anyone on this forum been able to make the UPnP server function work? The server shows up on my network but I can't access any of the files on the SSD in the A6.

 

I had hoped that would have been be fixed with the new firmware update. It seems my hope was in vain.

 

I was not able to use the A6 Gen2 UPnP server with some older dlna-capable devices, an Oppo and a Yamaha, but it works on the USB Audio Player Pro app on my Android cell phone.

 

@Zidoo Support-Kim Is v1.5.62 released via OTA for all or only for Eversolo Test Firmware Volunteer Group?

 

@McBluna Apparently, 1.5.62 isn't even being distributed to all Eversolo Test Firmware participants. I previously shared my MAC address, but still haven't received the update.

 

I actually have the update files, but since it’s still in this limited testing phase and hasn't been officially released via OTA, I’ve decided to hold back on posting it for now. I want to make sure it's stable before making it available to everyone.

I got the 1.5.62 a few days ago via OTA and I'm not in the beta-group.

 

It is very interesting according to what principle the waves of updates are formed.

 

I also received v1.5.62 a few days ago OTA and I am not in volunteer group.

 

More likely by MAC address; which might be, basically, by production batch...

 

We have to wait till Chinese new year is over. It does appear some glitches in 1.5.62 for some.

I find 1.5.60 is working fairly reliably but it does have some minor glitches.

Spotify is working well with connect now. Spotify has updated Connect app twice now on my Samsung Tablet including one today since 1.5.60 update.

 

I bought an Eversolo Play. It has firmware v1.5..46. The device cannot find new firmware online. I would like to update the firmware to the latest version.

How do you obtain the firmware files? Does Zidoo send them to you? Is there a method for extracting them directly from the devices? You don't have to answer, it's just out of curiosity. You mentioned, for example, that you had version 1.5.62, even though it hasn't been rolled out to everyone yet.

Thanks. I just installed the latest from the mcBluna site and it worked well. I wish there was an FAQ about changes, but that likely won’t post until official release.

It's kinda strange that this version do not appear in T8 ota updates neither inside this official forum
