I am having problems with this file, it is an Open Matte movie version with perfect 23.976 framerate, but the Zidoo plays it with 25.000 fps and serious 'stutter'

    Does anybody knows why?

    Thanks in advance.

I'm thinking it may be related to this Frame rate : 23.976 (23976/1000) FPS FPS. I know there was a similar problem with mp4 files with this framerate in the past. 24000/1001, is what it should be, not 23976/1000.

Same movie played with an Oppo 203 or a Dune Smart D1 with perfect and smooth 23.976fps

So the problem is related with the Zidoo.

Agreed, it'd definitely be a problem with the Zidoo if it's what I mentioned. In the past, I know MP4 files with a reported frame rate of 23796/1000, played back at 60Hz, but based on what I have tested recently, that seems to be fixed. Based on what you're reporting, this sounds like a very similar problem, which is why I think that may be the case.

Is this issue solved with the new Z series?
