Feature request: Sort Music library by Album Artist and fixing artist artwork lookup errors?

I've definitely given up on this now. Will be selling the A6 and moving back to MusicBee on a PC platform.

I think you can't possibly know what's right for me and my listening requirements but whatever: you crack on.

 

You are right, I do not know your specific needs.
But based on my experience I am perfectly able to spit a judgement on your choices. Like it or not, of course. But that is the truth.
In the end it's your money. and in this perspective, no one else can jump in to tell you whatnot.

 

Your experience is useless in a subjective scenario; the A6 doesn't do what I want/need it to do. No amount of your 'experience' or how you feel about it changes that fact.

Your opinion is utterly redundant and I'm not even sure why you felt the need to chime in. You're wasting your and my time, frankly.

Your comment does not fall in any of the three, just said: don't-like-the-a6-and-gonna-sell-it.

Nobody is actually craving for information like this. My comment, then, was as relevant as yours. You're sick of the Eversolo gear...? Fine.
Don't mess with who is saying that, perhaps, you should give it another try.

Listen, this is a place where somone:
1. Found a flaw in a product that means it significantly doesn't fit their needs
2. Asked for a feature to solve that and found it was ignored
3. Didn't ask for your input on their decision to go with a solution that they know already works

My comment doesn't have to fit into one of your narrow-minded 3-category options; someone really, really wants to be a moderator here don't they...?

Let me put it more simply for you; if I bought and tried on a piece of clothing, found it didn't fit well and said, "I'm going to sell this, it doesn't fit..." would you tell me I'm 'making a mistake'? No, of course you wouldn't.

I came here with an issue, asked whether it's possible for it to be fixed. No-one who could affect that outcome replied so I've elected to cut my losses as the A6 is not fit for my purpose. Then YOU turn up to sanctimoniously inform me that I'm 'making a mistake'. If anything, keeping the A6 knowing it doesn't do what I need or want it to would be the mistake you absolute melt.

Do you think you're going to somehow 'convert me' into keeping the A6? What are you trying to achieve?

By the way the questions above are rhetorical, I have no interest in what you think you're doing.

 

Just a final check-in here to see whether anyone at Eversolo has seen this request as I'm about to list the A6 for sale. If there's any chance of it getting 'sort by Album Artist' (ie. if an update is in the works for a future firmware etc) then I'll hang on to it. It really is the only issue that I have with the A6, unfortunately for me it's a deal-breaker if it can't be solved.

So....anyone at Eversolo aware and working on this by some chance?
