I got that you were replying to my earlier post. Also, as you can see, you do NOT use "album artist" as you keep writing but "albumartist" without a space. Both are valid, but the DMP-A6 might pick up only your variation.

I did not know it was skipping the 'space' between.

 

The remote app v1.15.32 does not seem to respect the settings of the device.
On the device i got only a few navigation items selected.


In the app i get them all.


a: How do i edit the navigation menu in the app?
b: Why is the setting from the device not leading?

 

On my DMP-A8 with 1.5.10 and my DMP-A6 with 1.5.30 I don't have the "Navigation menu".
It seems, that the App on iOS uses with FW 1.5.10 the Album Artist in the Artists view, with the FW 1.5.30 the Artist.
This explains the difference.

 

Still no update available on my A6.
Filled out the form once more.

This time it seems to have helped as I got the update pushed via OTA.
It went to a relative slow "system update" process and rebooted next normally.

I tried to select an album using the alphabetical selector but the list stayed empty and I got a loading/waiting icon.
No reaction from the album tab for minutes. But the rest kept functional . When I came back later the list was finished and functional.
Is the list build in real-time?
Can't the list be build during the import/update of the library ?

That will be hard. it is not happening all the time.

Is there a log file i can look into?
IE: Loading time of a certain Tab.

Is there a method to enter the VU meters screen automatically right after power up? or, right after music starts playing?

Is there a screen saver displaying active VU meters when music is playing?

This had been bugging me from the start, because the devs don't know the difference between "new" and "old".

And then the uncertainty about failing psu and Eversolo not willing to disclose what units are affected

 

When are the problems in the room corrections going to be fixed?

Using a slider after a measurement (like how much gain should be added) closes the room correction screen.
So you have to start again with opening the room correction app and selecting the mic and correction file again. And take measurements again.
Same when trying to add a custom curve: when tapping + or - to adjust the frequency or dB results in a error and the screen again going back to the apps overview.

But by all means just add new VU meters.

That's in the control app on a Samsung A9+ tablet running the latest Android version

 

Hello. Based on the information we have, this looks like an isolated compatibility issue with that device model. It will take some time.
