O.M.G. Here we go again. Let me sit down, grab a bag of pop-corn, a pint of beer, and watch the show one more time. @Purité Audio Keith, please. Don't. Thank you.
T8 pre-ordered .. ETA end of September. Looking forward to putting it through its paces, and compare it to an LPS upgraded A8 in transport mode, both over i2s and USB. Note: For me the T8 footprint works better than the A8 footprint, so that's the first win.
WDitters hello , Best of luck to you with the T8, Yes, price is certainly do appear to fluctuate in certain areas perhaps maybe even week to week or so on I was reading an article last night that here in the USA, There have already been sanctions against this country from China, as far as importing goods naturally due to the tariffs, As the article went onto state so far, there are no holdbacks on electronic exports to the United States as of this date,, Or however, the articles did go onto state that that could be a very future possibility, I would imagine if things keep playing out as current, shame But on the T8 In your statement of a more suitable footprint,, I do believe the T8 is somewhat of a smaller in dimensional Overall, size, Would I indeed was wondering is how much of a small footprint could possibly be, Although I do know, this is quite important for some folks, Perhaps I am somewhat overlooking this more than what some folks desire So from what I understand, this is purely out of an aesthetically speaking move I would imagine absolutely this may be the correct move for yourself, I only Bring this to question purely out of curiosity I guess you can say when I build things like racks and storage units or things of that nature It may sound a little unorthodox to yourself, Or somewhat overextended, but I actually Mig weld my whole storage rack or AUDIO rack together, Yes, absolutely it’s heavy. I have quite a time maneuvering it on my own two guys of amble strength can usually put the rack right where I want to be, But sorry with all due respect when you say footprint I was just wondering knowing it is somewhat of a smaller unit in size, what would I leave in question is how much room or space or extra area, etc. could you possibly be gaining? I don’t know that’s why I ask. I should have taken the time to look up the overall measurements of both units not currently thinking about it at the moment I have had a lot of equipment come and a lot of equipment go for some reason and I honestly couldn’t give you an answer. I am very partial to the A8, No, in almost every aspect, this may be, though to the fact that it just seems to be the exact size as far as fitting in with the rest of my equipment, But best of luck to you on receiving your new unit, T8 congratulations may it bring you many hours of enjoyment Just wondering here in the US no big deal thank you ;-)
The A8 is 38.8cm (W). Currently my Niimbus US 5 PRO at 35.1cm (W) stands on top of the A8, hindering touchscreen access due to the cable ... The T8 at 31.5cm is narrower than both the A8 and Niimbus. so can go on top of the Niimbus ... My listening corner unfortunately does not offer a lot more space than that ...
Considering what is currently happening in the US economy, I won't be surprised if they stop shipping here. I had a difficult time finding an A8 in stock last spring. I bought my A10 from an online retailer in Chicago. I was able to pick it up since it's only 18 miles away. I noticed now they no longer carry the A10. My guess is they ran out of stock and can't get anymore units.
Hello Macnet427, unfortunately, you are absolutely correct, I have also noticed the same and also through speaking with a few other Audio guys here at present , Please do not take this statement as being condescendingly speaking, However, the few dealers that are still currently around, had stopped, carrying Eversolo AUDIO equipment for a few other reasons other than availability from what I am told idk , I certainly was not told this Through an exact dealership, but that’s the word, These guys are pretty much on top of their game as far as knowing what’s what or what’s not what for lack of better terminology, I believe you could fill in some of the blanks and be on spot, absolutely somewhat unfortunate especially for folks even as yourself, But certainly appears that if some type of conclusion is not reached, I would assume this would be more than likely to be the outcome Best of luck to you with your new A-10 Enjoy the music, hey who knows you may be able to make a small fortune on your A10, not saying that you would even want to sell it, But I have seen a few commodities in the past Bringing astronomical prices and I’m talking no not used or in very good condition, NOS condition , it was absolutely out of hand, Like anything else supplying demand it appears if something is hard to get or not available unbelievable, I have seen a certain item here in the very late 1990s guys were Actually paying over double the price For a certain item if you could even find one for sale, and I am speaking of something well over an excess of 10/ 15 G’s Just brought back an old memory, you could not go to the dealer and just purchase this particular item at that time the waiting list was approximately a one year wait , it turned absolutely insane for over a year, Now, of course I am just using this particular situation which is indeed true I do not believe that would actually happen, but you never know, But hopefully none of this will develop any further and turn out for the best for everyone, thanks again. Have a wonderful day ;-)
luxsin x9 dac has all the features, like eversolo dmp8,r2r volume control. except streamer part ,which it doesn't have. but i have an eversolo dmp 6, use streamer part ,from there in. digital transport to luxsin x9 dac later buy eversolo t8, bugs waiting for 2nd gen.
The DMP-A8 and the T8 never had HDMI outputs or was it ever intended to as far as I've heard. Why would you think that?
I feel they are producing for the traditional stereo audiophile market forgetting about the new interest in multichannel albums.
Because at A8 launch a lot of people was still asking for HDMI out. The T8 though is just being launched and that "never had" might apply only to A8. I don't remember either having seen early disclosure of its features, I might have just missed it though . Also, the fact that they share the 8 doesn't necessary mean that the T8 needs to be a mirror copy of the A8 without DAC, does it? One would think a manufacturer would learn from earlier choices, like Eversolo already has shown to do. Hence, the question, why only on A6?
Exactly. I listen to 2 channel tracks exclusively with my stereo set. But having a HT system too, integrated with the 2 CH, I also enjoy listening to native multichannel DSD (I have several) with the Denon receiver.
Hello everyone, I was speaking to a guy Last week over here, asking about selling His his A8, in favor of purchasing a ZIDOO NEO S , I’m most certain that’s the unit he was in description of, and his explanation we naturally gave him the courtesy of hearing him out in descriptive nature, of the ZIDOO UNIT stated above , but as of now we have Not too much interest and such, myself And 2 other folks, Basically stay I guess somewhat old school. It was just two channel audio, but the guy went on to describe. It’s a pretty nice unit, also somewhat lowering cost in comparison to the A8, Idk One of the older guys , ;-) said this kinda Reminded him of the 1970s, With the introduction The old quadraphonic days In which I do, remember myself, Shame I don’t believe it ever really worked properly Another fad, But with much better technology compared that those days I remember blowing a bunch of money on it Along with a few other guys at that time Well, we tried, It was still a bit of fun Way back then. Have a nice weekend everyone ;-)
This could very well be true. Hopefully there will be a T6 with upgrades like the T8 but with an HDMI output.
Hey Milky, I believe you have a point, Well Milky, the famous inventor and builder of the OTL amplifiers, that had went on to become New York audio laboratories,Moscode . Mr. Julius Flutterman, with his shop in New York City for many Decades, Actually had a sign over one of his workbenches that stated plant poor Power supplies equals plant poor performance. A big believer and a genius in his own right I have been in his shop Before his Passing in the 1970s, I was totally amazed, and at times I still am, An observation of what’s going on today?, so I really don’t know, I guess perhaps he had no idea of what he was talking about, building and over building in my opinion At that particular time, I could just about move it off. The his work bench, I guess I would assume that Mr. Futterman Had no idea of what he was doing or talking about, however don’t discuss it here. All you will get is, OMG IDK A Very interesting forum, Very interesting people that’s for sure. However we are all entitled to own opinions however, crazy they may sound But that’s what makes the world go around , wright ☮️ Anyway happy listening to everyone. Please have an enjoyable weekend.…
