Yes, HiFi Rose RS130 app is awful and their implementation of Apple Music is even worse with API. They would have been better off to skip their implementation of Apple Music. The only way RS130 is usable is as a Roon endpoint. I sold mine a couple of months ago and am much happier without it. I bought the Eversolo DMP-A10 and using it as a DAC and streamer with the balanced out connectors. It sounds awesome.
had hi fi rose for approximately 6-7 months A buddy came over one night with his new Eversolo A8, After complete comparison with the two units, we both reached the conclusion That his Eversolo A8 was it at least 90% and almost every aspect of the HIFI Rose, I did miss the larger Display screen to a certain extent, but then came to realize most of the time I had kept it in the off position anyway As far as performance and sonically speaking, the Eversolo A8 Absolutely was a valid candidate for replacement, I had kept the HIFI Rose for approximately one month after being introduced to the A8 In which, after that time I kind of had a bit of luck As I was going to list it for sale and found a gentleman that had and wanted and desire the HIFI Rose. So if it went to another happy home. Just for the record, I would estimate approximately one year later. He also sold the unit. And also purchased, and Eversolo A8, without doubt it absolutely was a substantial savings for All. there are not too many AUDIO situations or stories that I know of that pretty much had somewhat of a happy ending for a change In my personal opinion, along with a few other AUDIO guys here, There is just a very strong opinion and belief that the Eversolo certainly does appear to be the sweet spot, Still standing currently speaking,, As far as an overall value Well, happy listening. Hey Inti, I like that, ;-) I hope all is going well and you are enjoying your equipment and your Accuphase, just got my P-300 back last Week just a minor tuneup, I was surprised I also admired his honesty a good guy that worked on it, I had it playing with my Eversolo A8 earlier this morning, in my part of the world ;-) I did not realize what I was missing. Still a great sounding amp from the early to mid 70s wow, yes, you’re absolutely correct. Fell down a rabbit hole one way or another, But I was always the type of person even way back one as a teenager. I would always try to give the next guy a warning shot, Then he could usually take it from there let’s put it this way. I wish somebody would’ve told me, well, someone did kind of try to, but I didn’t listen as usual sometime ;-) I certainly do hope it all is well and you are enjoying your Eversolo unit along with your other equipment, You’re a smart man and an excellent observer, You would’ve came in very handy in some past situations that I won’t discuss , But thank you, my man and may God bless and whatever your belief I do apologize for the English and the punctuations. First YouTube video review on the T8 now up on the Tharbamar channel. Apparently full specs and release will be Sept 1st, this coming week, no price disclosed as yet. The T8 looks about as large as a DMP-A8, and the reviewer has lots of photos comparing the two on the interior, similar power supply, very similar clocks. His overall conclusion is that the T8 gives a lower background than his other streamers, with I2S being recommended output. One surprise is that it has digital volume control but no physical volume knob on the device. No external master clock connections visible on the rear. All the SPDIF outputs are rolled into one output source suggesting you can get simultaneous output on coax, optical and AES. EQ and Room correction features are present as on the other Eversolo streamers. Two SSD NVME bays underneath the device, possibly improved touchscreen. Not sure whether you still have ripping or CD playing options on the T8 but hopefully yes using the USB OTG port and an external drive.
So true Doesn't seem to have and HDMI Out like the A6. I wonder why they implemented it only on A6 and then dropped it.
