Good morning.Greetings to all forum users, including the eversolo technical department.Do we know when it will be available for sale and how much it might cost? some technical information about transport T8 is know, maybe someone from the technical department will reveal something? Currently there is no information, If anyyone knows something, please let me know.
Specialized separates almost always cost more. You are paying for the better sound quality. It has much better internals than the A8. I want to revise my guess now that I have thought about it. I'm going with $2499 to $2999. Marketing will want to keep it below the $3000 point. Also betting all those people that say they don't want to pay for the extra for a dac that they aren't going to use, aren't going to buy the t8. They will still buy the a8 over the t8 because paying for something they won't use, really isn't their issue with the a8.
Isn´t the T8 more or less a DMP A8 without DAC? And should cost more? We don"t know it is built and on what elements exactly. I think and would like to cost much less. I think the price of the dmp A6 ME level would be ok.
They already released some of the specs. I would like a new Ferrari for the price of a used Kia too, but it ain't going to happen. I'll gladly eat crow if it is somehow cheaper.
If it does not contain the DAC circuitry, then it WILL be cheaper. A streamer does no magic, everything is software, it has no fancy clocks, so yes, definitely, it WILL be cheaper than the A8. But in the end you'll need an external DAC, and that is up to you... can be a $100 one, or a $10000 one.
"My Eversolo contact tells me the T8 features “an ultra-precision Femtosecond-grade master clock” and delivers bit-perfect digital signals to external DACs." -Darko It will have fancy clocks. Do you ever get tired of being wrong and having no idea what you're talking about? The lack of preamp would be more of a savings in production costs. I don't know if production cost will be cheaper, but if they are, it doesn't mean the savings will be passed on to the consumer. Wasn't considering lack of preamp. But that would bring my guess down to $2300-$2700
I do not start crap with you, I just make statements based on logic. That you may like not; but this is all there is to it.
Based on lies.... bro every time I post something you comment something dumb, just so you can argue. I've never once asked for your opinion, but you always leave one. 2500 posts on here in two years. Maybe spend more time enjoying the music and less harassing people with stuff you obviously know nothing about.
Ok - both of you. Last chance. Someone please take the high ground or I'll put you both on the naughty step!
What is it with audio people? All you seem to want to do is to prove how high you can p**s up the wall and you all forget it pools at the bottom so everyone has to walk through it.
Guess we’ll just have to wait until it comes out. I have a DMP-A8 and plan on purchasing a T8 when it comes out. It sounds like the components will be upgraded in the internal unit. I’ve tried a couple of other streamers and the apps weren’t as good as Eversolo’s app. Neither one of them could stream Apple Music natively either. I have both Tidal and Apple Music accounts. As I’m using the DMP-A8 as a transport only, I did a/b testing with 2 other streamers. I know people make claims that transports can sound different; however, I heard no discernible difference between the DMP-A8 and the other 2 units. I have the DMP-A8 connected with the USB so it uses the clock in the DAC. The other 2 units were connected via XLR. I was an audiophile and purchased a very expensive transport. I ended up selling it after I purchased the DMP-A8 as the Eversolo app was superior. Eversolo has an edge with native Apple Music as well.
This is a bold statement I'd never expected to read on these boards. Glad to hear you experienced on your own skin. Well, ehm... ears, so to say.
