I am using Eversolo A8.
The firmware has been updated to the latest version, but Eversolo cannot be paired with my smartphone, iPad, or Windows PC while in Bluetooth mode.
When I select Bluetooth in source mode, the phrase “wait connection” appears, but the Eversolo device does not exist in the pairing list.

 

Hi there, maybe you have a remote control paired already? The RC connects via Bluetooth and so blocks other devices to connect.
That‘s how it is with my DMP.
It‘s just a thought….

The Eversolo control app has been recently updated, but my friend's Galaxy Tab S7 is still experiencing touch errors in the vertical mode of the Screen feature. The Galaxy Tab's model number is SM-T875N.

 

The problem still exists on the app of v1.14.90, right? I'll submit it to our tech team. Thanks for your feedback!

 

YES v1.14.90 is right.

And I found anothor problems.

Apple Music Classical version 2.3.1 has been newly updated, but when I run it on Eversolo, it force-quits. It worked fine up to version 2.2, but it seems to have crashed in the new updated version. Please test it. Eversolo has been updated to the latest firmware.

And as I posted a few days ago, Eversolo is not searched for on iPhones, iPads, and PCs in "Bluetooth In" source mode, so pairing is not possible. Please check this issue and update.

 

@Eki Shaw At this point I would like to do a feature request for the upcoming T8 ... I would love to see it have an Oled screen. As much as I love the A8, especially in evening music sessions the washed out greyish tint of an IPS screen simply does not do justice to its overall looks. In a top end device like the T8 you really want a background where black is truly black ...

After rebooting the Eversolo, the Bluetooth pairing issue was resolved.

 

Just to emphasize the point, just received my iBasso DX340 .. Full OLED display on a $1699,00 DAP .. Reviewers are unanimously lyrical about the DX340 and highlight the fantastic screen quality ... And I can see why ..

 

Change of sort order of Composer, Artist, AlbumArtist in Library.

If in the Library, I sort music by Composers (or Artists) I find music by Johann Sebastian Bach under the letter J ("FirstName Last Name")
I am used to finding music by Bach under the letter B (LastName, First Name)

How can I change this sort order in the EverSolo?

The only thing I can think of is to use the sorting artist tag> I think it's named SortArtist (you better google for it, though, as different file formats use different naming)
And then fill that in with (in your specific case) "Bach, Johann Sebastian", and you'll be done.
Actually, IMHO, all sorts of (re)ordering by name/surname/etc. SHOULD use this method. It was, nevertheless, invented for this purpose in the first place.

 

Thank you very much for your reply. The ComposerSort, ArtistSort and AlbumArtistSort fields are all completed. However EverSolo does not seem to read or display these fields, just the simple fields as Composer, Artist and Album Artist. I would be very happy if this sorting possibility would be made available in one of the coming updates.

 

It could be implemented in a new software update. Question is... will it?

 

Kim, I mentioned, a few Months ago, that it would be really helpful, when looking at our, eg. M.2 drives, which most likely have hundreds, thousands in my case, of folders, that there should be some kind of search function at the top 'tool bar', so we may search for a folder without continued scrolling, scrolling and scrolling down through the list, especially if the folder one is looking for is in the centre of the alphabet. This proceedure is so SO annoying! C'mon, get it sorted.

Kim, you replied saying that it would be implemented in the next FW update, but there's been two, but still no search function! Is this still being considered, as it would be VERY helpful/useful?
