Hello, today I acquired a Eversolo EM-01 microphone. When I look at the corresponding calibration file it appears only to start from around 64Hz. Does that mean that this microphone only measures starting from around 64Hz? I have a big standing wave around 50Hz in my room thus this microphone can't pick it up!?
    Happy New Year!

Hello Noejew, that would not make such a useful tool, however I just happen to see your post, I used similar devices years ago like Audio source EQ’s that came with their own calibrated Mic ,but it’s beyond me of why it would start out from what you say at approximately 64Hz . At a start out point such as that it makes me wonder how accurate the rest of the frequency spectrum is , well the only thing I would assume is , it’s not the Mic , to me, it would be in the software program that they incorporated into the unit or for the unit, but it sounds like there is a legitimate reason for it. It may have to do with the filter settings within the unit ? IDK . But I’m most certain you will get some very accurate responses back by myself. I’m really not into doing that sort of thing anymore, but it is a lot of fun and you can’t get a lot of gain out of it sometime. I often heard sometime. It actually made the sound of everything with a very negative outcome And I have also heard the opposite very interesting situation. You have there not list they may assume that everyone is running some kind of subwoofer and you would have to integrate the two from there by ear, but good luck with that and happy listening now in the foreseeable future anxious to see what happens This may be something I may want to journey into one day, but just keeping everything up and running right now is a job on its own, especially using mainly to gear and equipment
And Biampping 4 amps plus outboard Xovers sometime , I wonder what did I get myself into?
Good luck you’ll get it figured out that usually comes in the middle of the night for some reason

    Look under additional info:

20-20.000 Hz with calibration file applied.

My observation however is that the Automatic room correction software doesn’t fix any of my room modes (no real change below 400Hz), so I still use Room EQ Wizard software to create FIR filters for my A8.

    Hello!
I have a problem with em-01 if someone can help.

While attempting to download the calibration file, I followed the instructions to scan the QR code provided (packaging & microphone).
However, upon scanning, it only displays a number: 24391108102439110001, instead of providing access to the calibration file.

Could you please guide me on how to download the correct calibration file for my microphone?

    Thank you! :)

maybe that is the unique code of your microphone.
I checked the QR as well, and it leads nowhere...

I can’t find any documentation about this mic.
Is it working with the full Eversolo lineup? Does it require a specific software? (Except the calibration file)

Hello, has anyone been able to obtain the calibration file for the em01 microphone?

It is not a calibration file for EVERY single microphone.
It MUST BE a calibration file for THAT SPECIFIC microphone. This is how things work with (the need of) calibration files.

I also ordered the EM01 and I scanned the QR code that was on a sticker on the mic itself and it leads to a download page, transmitting the serial number. However, all I get is a message that says "The calibration file for the current serial number was not found. Please contact the customer service service@eversolo.com". VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Edit: Oh nevermind. The server did not like my VPN but I managed to download the files. Also, I noticed that the Eversolo app simply auto-downloads the correct files when the mic is connected to the phone, very convenient.

I've just received an EM-01 and managed to download the calibration file - however I have two issues.

    1. The calibration file only seems to start at 64HZ. What does this mean for frequency adjustment between 20-64HZ?

    2. Although the mic is recognised and 'works' in Mac OS and in REW and in the Eversolo RC software (on T8), there does not seem any way to increase the input signal strength of the mic to be loud enough to get REW to work with it properly. (no accessible options to change input signal strength anywhere). Input signal strength can be adjusted in MacOS for normal microphone but this option disappears when you select the EM-01 in the Input Source option..

Anybody else had these issues or know how to fix?

    Thanks in advance,
    R.

Adjust the input gain in the relevant software...?

Box greyed out in REW and not able to set above its default value which seems to be set by the internal microphone input gain on my MacBook. If I set the gain of that to max and then change mic to the EM01, REW mic gain changes to “1” but even that’s not enough for the calibration to work properly…seems so odd that I can select the EM01 as the mic but not be able to adjust its input gain anywhere so I can do a proper frequency sweep…

It's weird... like you have a demo version of REW... Input gain should be adjustable in every digital sound processing software; it is a must.

From what I could read elsewhere, there is a gain setup in the mic driver ("control panel" "device manager"... etc) Didn't receive my mic as of now so I can't help you more than that but it must be it.

Windoze is a pain to get to the OM-01 working, but after that, I too, could not get the REW software to hear the mic. REW said it was down over -6.500 db's!!

I emailed eversolo for mic calibration file. :(

started looking in the forums and there many. REW recommends:

Eversolo replied quickly with the link to get my EM-01 calibration file. My second attempt worked. Perhaps, you initially made the same mistake as I.

Eversolo's instructions were correct, but counterintuitive:
"You can visit the following URL to download the configuration file.
    https://dl.eversolo.com/micphone/em01/index.html?model=em01&sid=Your Serial Number#/
The serial number is located on your EM-01.You just need to replace "Your Serial Number" in the link above with your actual serial number."

My first time however, I replaced "Your Serial Number#" with my mic's serial number.
