Eversolo Control @ iOS

I love this new feature! Just integrates the App that much into the iPhone that much more.

 

See my note on the previous post. I cannot find the setting. Can you help?

 

As was stated earlier:

1. Open the Eversolo Control app.
2. On the Home page, tap the gear icon in the top-right corner to enter Device Settings.
3. Enable the function:
   -On iOS: Toggle on the Audio Session setting to allow your phone to display what’s playing on your Eversolo device

Thank you. I was on the wrong “home page.” I went to “Settings” on the “Screen” setting but I should have looked for the gear on the page with picture of the device which loads the controler. Mine does not have all the options yours has but I am using an A10. When I got to the Lock Screen on both the iPad and iPhone, this setting stops the music and there is no picture of the album art from Apple Music just a red Apple Music logo and the system crashes. I will try it on a friend’s A6 and see if the issue is the A10. There may be an incompatibility. Thank you so much for you help. I really appreciate it. I will work on it to see if I can get it going. It does not work on Qobuz at all so it must be only an AM thing.

I just updated to the latest app version and it's great! Thanks to @Imaodoloro I was easily able to revert back to the old iOS layout (posted here). Being able to see what's playing on my iPhone 13's lock screen is a huge addition IMO.

Thanks all of you for your help. I have found the setting on the Eversolo app but something is blocking the function on both my iPad and iPhone. Also on my friend’s A6 connected to my router the switch does not work. It shows the AM logo but no album art and the playback controls don’t work. I have signed in and out of AM to no luck and done lots of rebooting. Maybe someday it will start working on its own. Oh well…thanks again. He is going home to try it in his system and I will let the you all know what happens. I also tried the simple and new style on the iPhone thinking that might help to no avail.

 

After fooling around more, I found Qobuz to work with Audio Streaming right away but not Apple Music. Can other members make Apple Music Work? If so what is the trick?

Morning, how do you download and update? when i do it within the control app it says I am all upto date. currently running 1.2.32.

In the Apple/Google app store on your mobile device, of course.

 

So i need to delete the ‘old’ app as its not showing as needing an update just ‘open’ ?

 

Or wait for the update to arrive. The iOS app has an update to 1.2.35, I updated yesterday.

 

Version 1.2.37 is available for download.

 

What does "Added sources editing function" mean? I can't find any difference so far. Is there a switch to turn something on?

Any issues reported with the app update? The current app version I have is working fine. It'd be great to see "Cross-Platform Multi-Device Interaction" functionality for all Eversolo streamers added.

Since I updated IOS to IpadOS 26.0.1, I can’t reconnect to an ongoing session on my A6 (1.2.47). I have to restart my A6 to be able to reconnect.

 

Anybody else having their iPad disconnecting from their A6 and not being able to reconnect ? Is it perhaps related to the volume of my library (758 albums)? Is there an update in the making fixing this annoying problem ?
