    I have a Philips Oled808. Denon has fixed sync issues in the past with firmware. It's still not perfect. Their auto lips sync feature doesn't do what it's supposed to. It needs to be manually adjusted.

    I had it with previous zidoo and denon combinations also. I input an offset in the beginning and I have never to look back. It seems stable once I "synced"it

    Same Denon AV receiver, no issues with my Oppo 205.

    Have the same amp. Put on a bluray with DTS and saw no lip sync issue

    So in my case it will be some incompatibility between Denon and Philips. Or some setting.

    FWIW. I found that if I use the audio passthrough mode, DTS Master Audio is off, and I need to set the delay to 150ms. This fixes DTS tracks but then Dolby True HD is off.
    If I turn off passthrough mode both DTS and Dolby tracks are in perfect sync. Not sure why this is on my system. But maybe this can fix others that have this issue. I get what passthrough mode does, but is it necessary? The receiver is still getting the correct uncompressed audio track if passthrough is not selected right? Or is the Zidoo doing some processing to the track and then sending it to the receiver? I can't tell the difference sound quality wise with passthrough on vs. off.

    Zidoo Z9x 8k > Onkyo TX-NR 676 > LG C1 OLED.

    @Markswift2003 I assume the internal beta you are testing (which fixes feezes and shutdown bug) does not address this issue? Are Zidoo going to introduce a workaround to enable a manual DTS only sync option?

    No, all it does is address the freeze and standby issue.

    I don't know where they are up to with the DTS issue - it's not been mentioned for a long time - I'll ask.

    As an added information on the AV sync issue, my Dune Pro One 8K as an AV Sync issue on all audio formats but it's the same for all at -0,11s. So, if I put it to -0,16s (160 ms) everything is in sync. Also, my Ugoos also has AV sync issues (even on truehd atmos if I remember right). These boxes are all AML socs (Ugoss S922 and Dune and ZIdoo S928X). My realtek socs players (Dune and Zidoo) have no av sync issues. I already said this but it seems it's an AML problem and Zidoo Z9X 8K is the closest player to fix it so far with only DTS formats being out of sync.

    That's good information, but also makes the problem more confusing...

    I have a Dune Pro One 8K (AML928) and also a Dune Pro Vision 4K (AML905) and neither show a lipsync error here either. It seems to defy logic, but there must be a common denominator we're missing.

    Hi,

    I have a R_volution player one 8K.

    R_volution->Denon X4300-> TV Sony full LED DV.

    i'm getting lip sync issue as well. Setting the delay to -0.16 fixes it. On DTS HD as well as Dolby Atmos.

    Odd thing, On a DTS HD track @25p , its the other way around. Its in sync at default delay, and out of sync with the -0.16 offset.

    hope this help.

    Regards

    Hello,

    here is a few testings i have made with DTS HD movies. ( R_volution 8k)

    Movie 1 : 1080i@25 -> output 50hz ( dunno why) -> good lip sync at 0.00. no correction needed.

    Movie 2 : 1080i@25-> output 25hz -> no good lip sync at 0.00 -> offset 0.16 needed.

    Movie 3 : 1080i@25 -> output 50hz -> good lip sync at 0.00. no correction needed.

    I have no idea why some movies output at 50hz and other at the original 25hz . player is set to adapt to every framerate.

    Hi,
    I also have the DTS lipsync problem.

    DTS, DTS-HD is delayed by 140ms. Files are MKV.

    Hi Guys, is this DTS Lipsync only a problem when there is a NAS Stream? Is there everything ok with Movie playing over HDD?
    Thank you guys

    For me, I am suffering from this "Only Dolby files have no Lipsync issue" by playing files from a directly connected USB SSD. I don't use a NAS or an internal disk.

    Other people on the forum have confirmed that it helped them with DTS issues. It doesn't hurt to try.

    Unfortunatley not in my case. Here's what I wrote in this thread back in January: For what it's worth, it doesn't make any difference regarding the sync whether I have Pass-through Compatible Mode set to ON or OFF.
