Do you think it would be great to have a new A10 Master Edition with an SACD drive?

Do you think it would be great to have a new A10 Master Edition with an SACD drive? If the A8 Gen 2 Master Edition has a CD drive, why can't the A10 Gen 2 Master Edition have one too? Please share your opinion what is your take on this?

I'm favourable to this, actually for the entire DMP lineup (including the A6 model).

I'd much prefer if they released a standalone top loading drive that can be connected in USB...
So I don't have to sell my A10

    That's also an interesting idea

I like the idea of a separate CD drive too to keep the A10 box uncluttered internally. If it’s built-in and quits, then the entire unit has to be service. I’ve ripped all my CDs using my PC and went through a couple of USB CD drives over the years. Occasionally, I come across music that skips since the laser was worn out and have to rerun them. I also have a BlueSound Vault in case I have a CD that’s scratched and needs good error correction. I don’t listen to CDs anymore since I am 100% streaming now.

hello!yes its a good idea but i want a specific subwoofer (Sw10) and specific speaker (Sp10) to go with dmp a10 and f10. the dmp a 10 sub out is very low level .very difficult with a svs micro 3000.because the level xlr is too high.i'm at +10 +12 db in level sub out!

any $60 external CD drive can work... Hitachi/LG makes a perfectly good CD drive for all you wouild need with the A10. Nobody needs their built in drive... plus if you want to rip CD's there is much better PC/Apple software to do it much faster and you can eaisly stream them on your A10 in several different ways... so NO.... not necessary for me to have to purchase a $4600 "upgrade" cause they added a CD drive.
