Having trouble getting sound from the HDMI output. Played Amazon streaming and dsd files from internal ssd but no sound. Connected to marantz av7701 pre amp with no luck. Any suggestions? Updated to latest firm ware 1.1.60
What are you trying to do exactly? First of all Analog RCA/XLR don't work concurrently with HDMI. Neither USB output to External DAC plus HDMI output.
Just testing unit to hear dsd from dmp a6 HDMI output to my receivers HDMI input. As for rca /dlr analog or usb outputs from Dmp-a6 to dac, they work great. The issue is no sound from my receiver when connected to dmp a6 via HDMI.
You got a blue screen on your TV? If not check/swap the cable. For somebody else it solved a similar problem. Audio is on top of Video regarding frequencies. No HDMI cable in the box indeed.
Will try that next. If anyone has an Amazon item number of an HDMI cable that does work for you please send.
Got sound thru my stereos HDMI input……yea! It was in my preamps HDMI output sound settings. Signal was being sent out to tv not main stereo. Thanks again guys. And yes unit converted dsd file to pcm 192khz automatically.
Hi . I am writing this , because not getting any clue. Do not sure it is write forum / chat for this. I have connected DMP A6 with my Denon PMA1700NE over Analog RCA and streaming Spotify connect. However no sound is at speaker. have checked all settings. Can anybody help me on this. The same working fine when I connect my Denon over Coaxial Digital IN with DMP A6. I have update the system with latest firmware.
Some more details of your settings might help. You may have selected correctly, but have to confirm to eliminate all the obvious reasons, have you set the output to RCA in the A6? Even more unlikely have you selected the input to RCA in the Denon?
In DMP A6 the output set as Analog RCA and in Denon I have connected it Network AUX IN (connected over RCA cable) and also selected it from Input selection knob and also by small switch for Analog mode. Is there any minimum volume adjustment for DMP A6 to sense by Denon ?
Usually, the source should output at LINE level, which is the equivalent of having its volume set to the maximum, if there is no option to set the output as FIXED / 0dB...
Hi , Not understand your reply. I have found a conversation in another forum. its talking about volume pass through option as ON. In my case I want use DENON as Pre+power Amp and DMP A6 as a Streamer + DAC
You have to take the DMP as source and select analog out with cinch cable at Denon Networks/Aux in. Don't forget the selector switch on the Denon Networks/Aux Select source for DMP: Analog RCA. Internal player Try a different input on the Denon
