Feature request: Close the implementation gap between "Music Library" and "Files". Requirement: Make the set of playback functions from the "Music Library" available for folders containing music files in "Files". Optional: Make playback functions available for parent folders. If subfolders contain more music files than the device can handle, limit that function to "first 1000 music files" or whatever number of files the device is capable of. Optional: Make the folder.jpg visible in the "Music Library" as you do in "Files". There are more requirements concerning the Control App... e.g. reflecting the sort of library entries from the device. I might still come up with a (set of) requirements under the appropriate sub forum. IMHO enhancing the set of functions of "Files" has the higher priority than enhancing the "Music Library" – as "Files" is not limited to the library and reflects the complete and correct folder structure. If equipped with playback control functions, "Files" will be the more powerful function.
When is Eversolo going to add the ability to program a queue so multiple albums can be selected and played in sequence? I can do this with the WiiM and Qobuz apps. What's so hard about adding this feature? I really enjoy the DMP-A6 Gen 1 but Eversolo is falling behind as far as their Control app in my opinion. Eversolo is coming out with new products quite frequently. But they don't seem to interested in upgrading their Control app. The other issue is having to power off and unplug my DMP-A6 every time I add new files to the onboard 4TB SSD from and attached USB hard drive. If I try to play the newly added album files there's no audio and playback acts like it's on fast forward. This has been an issue for awhile. The DMP-A6 in my main system is on firmware v1.4.82. I know there's newer versions but the DMP-A6 is working fine (operationally) so I'm hesitant to update.
"Add all tracks to the end of the play queue" (see one post above) does that and is available for every album. So the request is to feature this function more prominently. I agree with that. This issue has been reported before. Not much of a remedy, but it should help to simply reboot the device – no need to power off and unplug the DMP-A6 every time. One forum member reports the issue did not reappear after changing the SSD manufacturer.
Hi. An idea just occurred to me: what about creating a new, more advanced voice search feature powered by artificial intelligence? A mobile app would capture commands or sentences via the microphone. Naturally, the streamer would need to be permanently connected to the network—which is standard practice anyway, given how everyone uses streaming services.
Just for clarity: Can someone of the programmers publish a list of all the tags (mp3, flac, dts and so on) which are used in the library?
