There is an "unofficial" web interface, developed by one fellow member of the forums. Cannot remember the details, but I think you can search for "unofficial web" / "web interface" or something in the lines.
What do you mean... the Evesolo has just ONE library. If all the sources where your files reside on are connected, then Library Update (or Library Rebuild / Rescan) does it all.
These are the 9 elements of your single library, you have a separate update button for each, you are asking for one overall master update that would apply to all ?
That's exactly what he's requesting. And I would be really like that feature too! I have different folders like "HDTrack downloads", "Qobuz downloads", "cd rips",... If I want to update my library, I want all of it updated. And on option to display "recently added albums" would be nice too. The option in the "albums" overview doesn't work at all. And when I'm selecting "album artist", why is the "#" (basically all artists starting with a letter, like 3 doors down, 30 seconds to Mars,...) always at the bottom. It doesn't matter if I select "a-z" or "z-a". If only the developers would have a look at the Bluesound interface and see how easy and fast that one works
I got 1 database. With 9 libraries. When the player is truly functional more libraries will follow. I want a "update database" aka "update all libraries"option. so all coupled folders/libraries are updated. Talking of libraries: When will the library browser get a alphabetical navigator? Talking of alphabetical navigator: can we have a border around it so we don't accidentally press an underlying item
Then it keeps updating. If i go to bed or go to work it is a good moment to update. Not when I start it up to listen.
Is it possible to make DMP-A6 to work as a NAA to HQPlayer? Or other ways to make them to work togethet. Now i can't play my flack files through Hqplayer.
So you have a pc running HQplayer and want to route the sound trough the dmp-a6? Or you want to use the dmp-a6 as a transport to put sound into the pc and then route it trough HQplayer. Or ? PC to DMP is simple use dlna, hdmi, xlr analog, spdif or usb. If you know how to let HQplayer act like a USB-dac you can route back. Or you need to have a serious sound card with HQ inputs. What the heck are you trying to do? I'm intrigued.
My Music is in Eversolo`s ssd. Hqplayer is in Mac mini. I`m looking a way to play my files through Hqplayer to upsample them to DSD. Problem is I can`t find a way to do that. I tryed to connect Eversolo to Mac with usb cable but nothing happened. I`ve tryed Jplay and Roon and Hqplayers software but nothing. I`ve tryed Bubble upnp and no results on that either. I have heard that NAA(network audio adapter) might be solution. So I was asking if it is possible to write a software for Eversolo to be that. Or do I just get a Raspberry pi for that purpose.
You can always get a Raspberry Pi, of course. But what about sharing your SSD via SMB, and then accessing it from your Mac...? Anyway, if your end purpose was that of upsampling to DSD, you had better just buy the SSD in a USB enclosure, instead of including the whole Eversolo around... it would have been cheaper.
For the usb to pc/mac to work you need the correct usb port. Still it is not clear to me. You want to play the files or you want to get the audio into the Mac. Files is easy. Enable smb on both devices . then you can access all internal files on the eversolo smb//dmb_samba User:root password: 123
Thank you all for the help! But yes, I need to get the audio to Mac. Hqplayer is in there and that is doing the upsampling to DSD. I`ve had Eversolo over a year now and really like it. Thats why I`d like to keep it and if possible use it as an end point/controller in my music system. I shall try that samba.
It looks to me that you will be just using it as a storage device, rather than a player / end-point / controller...
