Hi all, happy to be here and find this Eversolo Forum. I am a very proud owner of a new Eversolo DMP-A6. Still getting used to it but I am amazed with the quality of the sound.

I am a radio DJ and I have a massive 2.6 TB (still growing) musical library in good quality. Until now, I've managed the whole Library through my iMac Pro with apps like Swinsian (one of the best for me, I've been very loyal to this one for years) and sometimes using Apple Music desktop app, not a big fan of this last one, though.

Now, with my new Eversolo connected by Airplay to the iMac Pro, I can make everything working pretty good but using Roon instead of the other two apps. very happy with Roon, amazing piece of work, but still I would like to use the other two apps.

Sadly, Swinsian it's not working great through Airplay and it's losing connection with the Eversolo all the time. And using Apple Music Mac desktop app, it works for a while but it's losing connection with the Eversolo through Airplay too, after some time working fine.

So, my question is if some of you have same experience and you have found a way to solve the problem. I could continue using Roon, as I said, the sound is amazing with it, you can feel it but I rather to manage and play my Library with those two Mac apps, they are really good managing the Library, fast and clean, mainly Swinsian, as I mention.

Any ideas would be very much appreciate it.

    Thank you guys!!

So I’m not sure if this is related. But I will give it a shot. My eversolo control app on my phone continued to lose connectivity. It was pretty constant. The A6 never lost the connection though. I bought a Wi-Fi extender that I just plugged into one of my outlets in the room and problem solved. My control app is pretty solid now. Not sure if it is related to your issue or not but it was 80 bucks well spent. I’m sure you could do it cheaper - I just chose to go with one from netgear

Hi Timm, thank you for your help. What you say makes totally sense, I am in contact with Swinsian's developer and he mentioned that the origin could be there, in the WIFi connection and to be honest, the WIFI of my iMac Pro is not the best one so that could be the main issue. I have some of those WIFI extenders at home so I'll try and I'll let you know if it's working or not. Thanks again, Timm!!
