as far as i know. the analog output is 2.0 only. Spdif si RAW or 2.0 LPCM, HDMI is the only output with RAW,LPCM 2.0 and LPCM multy channel, from what i seen. people use reciever with RAW sound from box to output 5.1, but never tested myself. RAW is direct sound, you need a reciever that can decode the specific sound you want LPCM is decoded by the box. works on any speakers.
