Well if you remember, you’re the one that asked how this started , not me I gave you answer to the best of my knowledge and ability They’re not sideswipes it’s true and factual information. However, you are personally in view of it is within your own opinion, please have a great weekend :) it’s all good

I have already forgotten about it. You’re the one that keeps asking, but yeah, but yet you become irritated, Please do not worry about something that you cannot change where that’s beyond your ability to make change, I look at everything as a learning experience, OK, we have looked and we have learned. I think it’s best. We leave it alone old saying let sleeping dogs lie you may agree.?

Stating the facts and telling the truth has never ‘hurt my brand’ but thank you for your concern .

Your are most welcome , I would exercise, extreme caution if it appears to yourself, you actually have a walk-in that’s a seasoned veteran and has been around for a while, as long as the rookies keep piling in you should make out extremely well, they say everything happens for a reason. Good thing you’re across the pond, you wouldn’t have a snowballs chance in hell getting away with talking that rubbish over here :) but that’s cool :) Please have a great weekend, lol enjoy

Well, I did alert the kind donor to the fact that the shipping cost might not be inexpensive but he sent it anyway at his own expense. :) Indeed, a generous donation on his part for some forensic investigation. I won't know what he paid in shipping or what it weighs until the package arrives (assuming the USPS postage cost is actually on the box). My interest is firstly to determine the cause of the failure. It could be anything and of course it will remain a mystery until such time as I determine what that is. Secondly, what will be the fix or an inexpensive work around for any units which might fail from the same cause and that might end up failing outside the warranty period.

As for my interest in getting my hands on a faulty DMP-A6 Gen2 PSU, I did make mention of it on another thread (which currently eludes me, but I will find the post and link to it later). If anyone else wants to send me their eversolo PSUs dead or alive, I'd be happy to accept them.

EDIT: Link to my post is here - https://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?th...your-case-here-only.101233/page-6#post-279615

Hi Al, That’s great, let me check and gather some information and other details on that, can’t hurt No the only reason I had mentioned the shipping wow it’s way out of Control, approximately a month or so, it cost over $55.00 , To ship an eversolo in size A8 box ground,to California, approximately 3000 miles give or take , and approximately 10/12 pounds Max, I’m not used to these current and rising S & H costs and the shipper said he gave me a deal :)However to me it’s well worth the cost to find out once & for all what exactly the problems are here ? Good deal let me speak to a few folks here and take my findings in order from their, Also many thanks to a very generous donor, an extremely very rare breed today, in other somewhat unusual circumstances of non interesting news to some as follows ,

    * I personally don’t know this individual an associate of mine does, he went on to explain to me This gentleman ordered and installed an aftermarket PSU, well after a few months, his unit had failed the problem being found, was the aftermarket PSU .he now reinstalled The factory PSU , his unit now functions and operates normally again. Idk :) welcome to the weird world of electronics, and aftermarket builders .you never ever know units go down anywhere, anytime any place, very good for now Al , excellent news, again I must thank you, for your patience, time, effort and generosity without doubt, that’s the kind of camaraderie that I am personally used to, unfortunately it seems to be somewhat of now only in memory of distant past, with exception to a few folks here, Damm shame we all lose in the end, welcome to the New World, I much preferred the old one , I would assume as most, respectfully speaking.

Please have a great enjoyable weekend, :)

Normal protocol, naturally no one can be certain, but I can almost guarantee you that the PSU that was replaced in your unit is most likely now an operation in someone else’s unit I would almost guarantee it, Pull rectify and replace, however I would assume there is no negative outcome fortunately as long as naturally it’s guaranteed for its worth, Believe me, they don’t trash those PSU’s currently in use or not, every part counts , in my past Experience and observation's …

In just having the extra time here at present, the reason we now have 2 factory PSU’s , only due to individuals replacing their factory units with another or after market, 1 unit was still working, 1 not working or fully operational, I’m hoping he’ll never need it back and the After market unit continues to work and operate well presently, however, again anybody’s guess as to future reliability within the aftermarket PSU also, idk I have never quite experienced anything like this in the past, upgrading or no upgrading, any audio Device, somewhat a little ridiculous in personal opinion, :)
