I saw this but it does not match my organization On my NAS my videos are stored in a directory whose name corresponds to the type of videos I would therefore like to be able to associate a category with a directory Louis
Just checking if I understood your question correctly. You are talking about a custom categories eg McBluna and you want to assign a folder of videos to it?
The gui offers only the function to assign videos to a categorie video by video. The Zidoo REST API does the same. The only "fast" way is to manipulate the database directly.
No, but having done a lot of development I should understand Can you explain to me ? Thank you in advance Louis
Hello Louis, I'll come back to this topic as soon as possible. Since I'm working allready on a tool to transfer the data from nfo files created by tinyMediaManager or Kodi directly to the Zidoo DB, I'll add somthing like folder to category matching. The challenge is not writing the tool, it's to figure out all the possible setups that Zidoo owner might have. Eg. I have the happy scenario with one server with all the HDDs and one nfs share for the Zidoo Player. I seperate my content only by movies and tv shows. So I've to setup a virtual test environment with multi devices and folders to test as much scenarios as possible. Oliver
Hello Oliver I use tinyMediaManager to scrap my videos In HT 4 I do a scan to read the nfo locally My Zidoo Z10 Pro is networked with a NAS (nfs connection) and tinyMediaManager is on a PC with Windows 10 on the same network HT 4 cannot recognize a video in the form: seriename - S01E01E02 I don't know if you can correct this problem during the transfer Louis
My scenario was a tv serie with first season on blu ray and second season as mkv. It just didn't worked with the Zidoo scrapper.
