Browser Change Start Adress

how can i change or delete the astart adresse zidoo.tv in browser
i put the startpage e.g. to google.de (even in firefox or other browser) but this is always changing to zidoo.tv
when this is not changable this is a reason to give back the device immediatly

 

Android Chrome doesn't showed this behaviour, or at least not in some previous FW release.
Now I rarely use browser on X6, so on mine currently there is only the native one.
Maybe I'll test, else wait for Zidoo response.

 

i do not use chrome
normaly only firefox and because there is always startadress zidoo.tv i checked android browser

I suppose there is no difference between the browser on X6 and on X9. If this may help, here-after how to change the home page:
As far as possible use a mouse:
- from the existing home page click on the search icon
- write the name of your future home page
- when on the future home page click on the star at the extreme top right of the screen
- click on the tool (wrench) at the top right of the screen
- click on "set the home page" (or something like this)
- select "active page" and validate
- Go back to the new home page (click two times on the top left icon (earth)
... and don't claim I am not on the right forum...

I'll try and report...

 

Mine start always with Google, but changing "Start page" to "Blank page", if I open a new tab, it opens on a blank page.
No save button, but it saves changes.
Anyway first opening page currently is always Google.
Now I suspect that native browser, made by Google, if not modified (I mean compiled from Android sources) opens on Google page, else on the one choosen by the FW maker.

pls clear the cache of browser, we did not add this.

- how should this then come to a brandnew installed system - there had been no cache before the start?
- how should this then come to two browsers if cache would have been the problem - is there a beaming of data between two app-caches?

please explain this

and why a standard system should put in www.zidoo.tv as standard homepage???
is is your device from which customer? yes zidoo and which homepage do ypu have - yes www.zidoo.tv

think about it

 

maybe you could clear the cache of brower first, and turn it open. to check it have this page.
we have delete it a loog time.
