Would it be possible to create also a Neo X build? There are more owners of that one than Neo S I think.

 

That’s also my opinion but they are focusing another market sector. Simply forget this model and concentrate in your own device.

 

Sadly, still doesnt work with all dlna players nor will it play m3u playlists or support gapless playback in anything but roon (in my use case).
Likely an improvement to the app functions for those who actually use it.
Otherwise this has no effect or fixes any of the non-app problems that plague this unit for my application
Zidoo is not serious about this music market and are doing a half in approach. This will limit their acceptance. Its like being pregnant, you either are or are not. There is no "kind of"

No MP7 is definitely not stable as it is.

Seen several strange things with the control and album displays on the TV (not front display).
- It might display on the front display a rotating title and title+track nr. and on the TV with those changes an intermittent flikkering new album display.
- It may be impossible to scroll through the folder then at the same time as it is resets constantly too.
- Had a crashed MP7 once with the need to pull the cord to reset the player.

 

will we wait for online trailers until MP7 is running well?
Or will FW for other players come soon?

 

We were waiting several years for MP7, I think we can now wait for a few more months.

 

Added Tidal Connect function.
Great function added. but interrupted frequently. while use Tidal streaming in ROON is ok.

 

Soon and I believe the changes are a lot for other Zidoo devices if same fw number as this release. Then the wait will be appreciated!!

They are on a slight different branch. See numbering of last beta:
v6.4.06 for Z9X/Z10 Pro/Z1000 Pro/UHD3000
v6.7.06 for NEO S/NEO X

 

Then I understand even less why other players have to wait...
Release V6.4.06 was also for Neo devices (

Personally, I am only interested in one point: 4. optimised the problem that the trailer cannot be obtained.

 

This is a simple perception mistake as it did not go up. The V6.4.06 is for the standard models. Neo models got v6.7.06 equivalent and is only pushed via OTA.
Neo models always have the same FW x.x.x as x.x+3.x for those.

 

OK, that was a bit confusing

 

Got an update to FW v6.7.18 (made for all Neo models) which thus far looks more stable. Didn't see the weird things in display yet with this update. Neither had a crash.

There is an specific filter which enables to limit the number of Album Artists by specifying the minimum number of tracks found for an Artist. It seems to do what it claims. Put it on 5 myself as I for sure don't have any albums with less than 5 tracks on them. False hits are then (mostly) gone.
