    Oh ok! You mean also the settings of HT4! Sorry, that's quite quick in my case now, but you're right!...the real pain would be the library (1886 titles between BD and BD 4K and 89,72 TB of archive) and fortunately there's a backup for that! :p

    Hi guys,

    In an effort to address the issue of video freezing I tried 5Ghz wifi connection and to my surprise I had uninterrupted playback for mkv files both bluray rips and tv series.

    But....I could only connect to wifi once!!! I cannot connect again! Available wifi shows the network I want to connect to but nothing connects. I have disconnected the ethernet cable but the settings show ethernet is connected at 100mbs. I've gone to advance settings but it shows I cannot connect to wifi as no app has asked for permissions to reconnect to wifi!?!?! What the!!!!!

    Why can't I connect to wifi? :(:(:(:(

    I am on the non G version of the firmware.

    Sounds like the ethernet driver has crashed.

    Turn it off and on again?

    I want to avoid that as I will loose all my settings.
    Do you know if there is an ethernet driver I can download and install? Or should I now contact Zidoo tech support?

    Try next fw which about to be released shortly before contacting ZTS.

    @Cranks I think you can reload the same FW once more. Maybe that helps?

    Resorted to installing firmware 6.4.06.

    That solved the problem but had the joy (not) of setting the box up from scratch! I wish the developers would create a settings backup option...that would be ace!

    Yep - I've asked many times for that.

    But I can factory reset and get everything back to where it was in my sleep now :)
