Could you confirm it actually says HDR10+ and not just HDR10

 

Dont have that film to test ,but ive posted on earlier threads with scrren pics from phone showing HDR10+ triggering for Alita and BTTF from mem

Got Alita.mkv running atm with HDR set to HDR10 in settings

Movies running and info is showing
Output mode 3840x2160p @60hz YUV420 10 bits BT2020 HDR10+ on Zidoo info
and same on Panasonic Z1000 info

And then setting HDR to VS10 for HDR/SDR (what im enjoying for TV epis )

Output mode 3840x2160p @60hz YUV422 12 bits BT2020 DV in Zidoo and pana

i do think DV plays darker than the HDR10+ on this movie

 

The online update isn’t there on my Z1000Pro.
Is it correct that the update was pulled back because of issues?

Do you know if there are labels for frame rates such as 23hrz and the Auro 3D sound format?

 

HT don't get the information for 23.976Hz from the filename. Auro 3D it's not supported.

 

I did the online update now, but got version 6.2.6 (UHD3000)

I have version 6.3.0 on a USB stick, but maybe it should not be installed... hmm

Bizarrely the only framerate png in the apk is one for 23.976 and that only gets picked up when playing the file and there's no badge for Auro 3D.

 

It’s seems to get picked with you have no labels (e.g. HDR) but as soon as you add a label is seems to not get selected automatically!

EDIT: this is not true, sometimes it just takes a while before it is displayed!

 

why range color 16235 and not automatic?

 

Auto will work just fine, but since 16-235 is the correct setting I prefer to set these sorts of things discretely wherever possible.

Yeah just tried another piece of content (Voyagers 2021) and it only says hdr10 not hdr 10 plus. I'm wondering if there is an issue with hdr10+ content now for this device and my display now.
Any suggestions?

 

As long as the display's EDID dictates HDR10+, the content is HDR10+ and HDR is set to Auto, the device will output HDR10+

The exception to this is if the display is HDR10+ and DV and the content is DV with an HDR10+ base layer. In that case DV takes precedence.
