so very close now to MCH working for sacd .....its at least saying its o/o 6ch at the correct 176khz pcm ....denon is also saying 6ch output , but sadly ,its still just 2 ch

32-48khz M4a atmos 6ch outputs correctly/plays correctly as 7.1 atmos

1-2.82Mhz dsf 2 ch outputs correctly/plays correctly

1-2.82Mhz dsf 6ch amp input says 6ch 176khz / amp output says 6ch BUT only 2 ch plays ie 4 silent channels being sent

 

13. Added the full-screen playback function of trailers

Yes it has but they don't work!!! Epic fail. Come on Zidoo - either make this work consistently or for the love of God remove the option for online trailers and restrict to playing your own local ones!

This will be embarrassing if carried over to the new 8K range!

 

Still not fixed:

1. {\an8} SRT subtitle tag is not supported. Currently the player does not support {\an8} srt sub tag. This tag means to show the line at the top of screen instead of bottom as it may get in the way of something on screen. Currently it shows the tag in the subtitle instead of interpreting it. Currently no workaround available.
2. Dutch internal subtitles are not selected automatically (external srt works fine). Setting Nederlands results in no standard sub being selected. The English track is being chosen because it's flagged as default and forced. I tested with german and french and those work fine. Seems like a sub labeling issue. Workaround for now is manually selecting dutch subtitle when starting the movie.
3. External dutch subtitles (srt) sometimes overlay like showing internal and external subtitle through each other. Workaround for now is changing the subtitles position to show the subtitle on the video itself and not on the black bar.

 

Can confirm: playing trailers is broken in this version.

 

Bad news... Please fixit Zidoo

 

The only work around is to use the free software Subtitle Edit and remove "{\an8}" using find and replace. That gets rid of the tag from appearing on screen but of course they will appear at the bottom maybe interfering with something else.

 

I don't want to believe that it can't be fixed...
Since it is supposedly done in 8K - why wouldn't it work on older Zidoos

Is corrected issue with at the speed of file transfer between player and PC?

 

How is the playback of files on the 1.0.90 firmware? Is it the same as 1.0.86? Is it safe to upgrade? I'm using MKV only.

 

Same bug in new version with SMB authentication.
