They have not even fixed the last boxes they conned people into buying. I doubt they will ever release another box with the amount of returns on these boxes. Too many unhappy customers! To make matters worse they are so arrogant and snobby that they never send updates or answer emails it's the worst I have ever seen in any product ever.

    Hello all,

Here I need a guidance/help. Recently purchased a projector, want to connect Z9X pro to the projector but the problem here is that projector is about 12 feet away from Zidoo and if I try to conceal HDMI cable behind furniture, wall and ceiling then it will need about 35-40 feet of HDMI.
    Now my question is

1."Conneecting a 40feet long HDMI cable will work with zidoo?"
2."Is there any way to connect my zidoo device with projector without HDMI?"
p.s-(4K transmitter/ receiver devices wont work in my case)

Any help/input will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

You are fine - Get an optical HDMI cable that is rated for ultra high speed. I have a 60’ run and it works fine

"optical HDMI cable" ??? How it works? Connected to the HDMI port in one side and to the optical port the other side?

LE. Mea culpa! I just checked on internet and I found that "The new Optical Ultra High Speed HDMI is our most advanced long cable yet."

I have three Ultra high speed 3m long HDMI cables, connecting them by a connector will work?

It will be extremely difficult to hide the wiring. Still waiting for something out of the box solution ?

No, you'd need to use active repeaters to regenerate the signal at each join. Passive connectors are OK for short runs and low bandwidth but not this application.

You're much better off with one reliable cable. Although wireless solutions are available, if I tried one I'd want it on sale or return...

    40ft is some 13m.
As suggested, get a single 15m optical HDMI cable, no several smaller ones with adapters.
I don't know where you live, but you can order them everywhere...

Folks using HDMI 2.1 optical cables may need a power inserter when connecting to HDMI 2.0 devices because 2.0 devices can not supply enough power to the 2.1 cable. I use this one with my 50 foot cable Ablink cable.

If you have carpet then you can usually tuck small cables under the trim baseboard. Wiremold (here) makes several pieces that can be used for cable management. Most can be painted to match wall colors.

Good Advice for anyone wanting to use longer Optical Cables! Add a voltage inserter just to be safe!

I wrote off a Vertex 2 for that exact reason!
Apparently it doesn’t play well with longer Optical HDMI’s connected to the 4K output, as they draw too much current and pop a chip over time!
I was told by HDFury that it wasn’t repairable, and as it was out of warranty, I had to buy another!
Not cheap compared to an alternative cable or power inserter!

Since 15m cable is costing around same as Wireless HDMI transmitter-receiver. What do you think is the best option?
Buying a Wireless HDMI transmitter-receiver or 15m long optical cable? I read some reviews where people have reported a lag with HDMI T/R.
These devices here are not returnable so once I buy it will have to keep it.
Any one has tried these devices?

Cable always before wireless, especially for home cinema use.
Wireless is fine for presentations, static content and such because it always compresses the signal.

I'm using 15m HDMI 2.1 optical cable without any power supply and it works flawlessly. Z9X --> AVR> Vertex2 --> Benq PJ
