Not true, the files were scattered across several different volumes and NOT contained in that directory. In fact they were hiding in many different folders, wherever the movie files were residing. There was no hometheater directory anywhere in the mess.

The only way that happens is if you export local images from the Library Menu. That's most definitely not an automatic process and nothing to do with volume names.

Again not true, because it happened. I did nothing other than update the scans on those volumes. I don't even know what the "library menu" is.

    Ok.

    But it is.

Calling people a liar might make you feel superior, but the facts are what I stated. Remembering that I had also re-scanned my bank of 4 attached drives I went and checked those. They had the hometheater folder and all the poster files in the root of each drive. Completely opposite of what happened on the NAS volumes where no hometheater folders were created.

    Yeah.

    But it still is.

So the question is @rdgrimes: Were there also NFO files scattered across different volumes or just JPG files? Because the function described by @Markswift2003 (to Export NFO as exists inside the Library menu in Poster Wall settings) is always exporting the NFO files but only optionally (if checked) the JPG files.

So if you see just JPG files but no any NFO files... then Export NFO was not used.

Why the function of playing trailers auto does not work with this update?
Any workaround to get it back?

Most interesting, most likely this is a matter of the new firmware

Trailers broken in latest release. Maybe it will get fixed in next.

Most Zidoo firmware's are classed as beta and need to be downloaded and installed manually. However they are always pretty solid. This is how Zidoo roll. They pump out betas with a lot of fixes and some new features. They do have a tendency to break something (trailers) along the way though!

They have always operated like this and I can't see that changing. I suggest you keep an eye on this forum and install the latest betas when they arrive - unless your box has no issues for you.

My question is: is this beta or stable? why my z9x pro suggests update 1.0.86 if this is beta (i didn't activate this)?

I don't want to check all threads and changelogs every time. I want stable firmware... i don't want to go crazy.
i want hard and stable player not with problems.

None such thing exists in the market. It's all about your personal use case.

My z9x pro with 1.0.69 works good. I want only see videos fluid without crash or various problems.

The question is: is this beta or stable? why my z9x pro suggests update 1.0.86 if this is beta (i didn't activate this)?

My zidoo stock mount 1.0.69, but i don't see it here or in mcbluma site. It's beta or stable?

For me is important stability, fluidity and correct work. I prefer old firmware with less options and old interface but want strong player. I don't want problems.

all zidoo firmwares are basiclly Betas
maybe once a yr they will decide a Beta is stable enough to make it OTA its still a Beta thou

This .86 is probably more stable than the .69 you shipped with
Like most updates theres mostly just issues with HT scrapping and MCH audio still only 2 ch mostly

If you just play movies and arent bothered with HT , you could skip the f/w if your happy with playback atm ,or do it for prabably better playback

OK, the stable is the best beta. Now my zidoo proposes 1.0.86 update, is this become "stable"?

HT is Home Theather 4.0? I use and appreciate it but most important is not problem with play videos.
.86 it doesn't play trailers if I select trailer icon? The videos play good with no problem? is there a bug report?
what do you mean by scrapping?
is MCH audio dolby atmos format?

I think the volume labels changed.

    Thanks for help.
Label is the name? I haven't changed anything, I didn't rename it. Now zidoo don't see all my HDD.

How to fix it? Formatting zidoo? Delete all zidoo/android folders in HDD?
