zidoo told me via email reply that this forum is the way to go for bugs. but q.e.d I know for sure that this is not true the last 3 months. I never got any confirmation here in anything

 

zidoo team, if you are here, pls elaborate on media scrapping.
it seems the bug with scraping I've reported several times is 4 years old?
Will there be any development on that in the next week's?

About mid of 2020 I’ve started developing this tool because I was unsatisfied with the internal Home Theater scraper. I’ve had unmatched or mismatched Movies and TV Shows. Sometimes wrong poster, fanart or clearlogo. Scraping for TV Shows on multi episode disc just sucks.

 

I never was able to download subs in English for episodes the list of recommendations is endless there's no way to download the correct one

 

This is another bug, before it was showing the info of the subtitles, now it only shows the title of the movie with no info at all

 

I've set up an jellyfin server (besides my emby server so that doesn't make any sense) to avoid hc4. I don't like zdmc. so now I can take a look at my library and have not 7 folders for 2 seasons with 5 pics. but, subs are not working you always have to add the correct one manually from the folder that is a pain in the.... Also no skip next episode and avoid intros..

I will not use the one from mcbluna it seems you need some it skills I don't have. also scrapping via tmm is not a workflow for me even if I have it now in a docker on my nas, no real auto management..

 

Probably it was mentioned before... but v1.0.75 is NOT fixing showing subtitles overlapping the screensaver... So they still overlap

 

It's been on my bug list since the mid 1950s. I doubt it'll ever get fixed.

 

So the workaround for OLED owners is not to pause video for a longer time while subs are displayed.

Nope, still does it with SSA (and ASS).

 

If you have subtitles active, why pause the video? Just stop it and let the bookmark feature do its job on startup..

 

Or don't pause when a subtitle's on screen.

 

Don't know if this has been posted (reported before) and if it has been sorry but it's gotten to a point where it annoys me alot. It happens every 10 to 15 boots roughly. Not certain if it is more frequent now with the latest firmware or before. In this case I just reboot the device and it's fixed.

 

I had the same yesterday at Z9X Pro.

 

that's what I'm doing. really annoying. if you need a pause for a phone you think the whole call about that xxx subs because you have to change the position before going away longer

if it stays years like the library scrapping bug of TV content the reputation will suffer a lot because of such a crap

installing it atm wasnt one up on mcbluna when i checked yesterday so cheers for headsup
