Apple Music install/APK

I start this topic to help my self and all other newbies

I got my A6 today and its upp running Qobuz, Roon and Apple Music

Im not sure that I have the tablett version installed and its not easy for an "apple man" to understand APK and android .. and Im sure Im not alone
There is no tutorial or FAQ for Apple Music and third part apps..

Please Eversolo experts .. Help us all and If you like Apple Music you help your self. Hope Apple Music will be an integrated app in the future.

I’m an Apple and Apple Music user, what is it you need help with?

The Apple Music app that came preinstalled is the version officially supported by the DMP-A6. All non-integrated apps can only be accessed via Cast mode on your phone. Apple Music can be found in Streaming.

To make sure you get hi-res, in the Apple Music app tap on the triple-dots on the top-right corner.



Go to Settings > Audio Quality and make sure Lossless Audio is turned on. In Wi-Fi Streaming select Hi-Res Lossless.



Then in Eversolo Settings turn on Eversolo Original sampling-rate audio engine.



To sideload an app, download the APK (Android version of app installation file), then type your DMP-A6 IP address in your browser using port 18888 i.e. 192.168.0.201:18888



Select the APK file and wait a few seconds, the installation will be automatically done for you.

You can find your IP address in Settings > About. To find APK files you just need to google for it, popular sites include APKMirror, etc.

As you can read I have had Apple Music upp running from the beginning .. took 5 min to install
I think your guide can be a good help to many ..

What I'm not sure of, is if I have the right version off Apple Music APK
There is so many sites and version out there. How do I know if it is the tablett version? etc etc

 

I know I saw your screenshot, just thought as long as I’m describing that might as well include it all so others can benefit from it too.

Don’t manually install the Apple Music APK, use the one that came already preinstalled in Streaming, tapping on it will commence full install. That’s already the right version for the A6 provided by Eversolo so no need to worry about the APK versions of it anymore.

If you mean for other apps, I’m no expert on the versions either I usually download them all and see which one works. Hopefully Android users here can help us on this
