Hello, could someone tell me if it is normal that Apple Music downloads for some versions have been so slow, we talked about leaving it overnight to download a few albums, at first it did them much faster. I download them to my M.2 SSD which is quite fast. Could it be a disk format problem? Does it happen to everyone? Thank you.
Apple Music downloads IMO depend on Apple servers / policy. AFAICT the speed of your disc is not relevant, as that could make the process just a bunch of seconds "slower"; what you are experiencing is a slow server bandwidth (limited by your connection speed, or by Apple's servers to your IP, etc. etc.). Maybe at Apple they do allow music downloads, but somehow limit the capability depending on how much you download... (and, of course, without telling you)
I downloaded quite a few albums and each time it took about 3-4 minutes for each album but I never tried several albums at once. Try to transfer something from the computer to see if there is a problem with that SSD.
