I made a bit mistake. In a previous post, I said only the “true” Eversolo file ran high res-music and the APK file was inferior. I was wrong. During another discussion Kim looked at my version of AM and said I was using an APK file to get hi-res music. How could that be? What I did not understand after reading an explanation on Chat GPT that when I downloaded the APK file for AM, it integrated itself into the Eversolo app, so I have been using the APK for a long time thinking it was the Eversolo app. Since I have done a few factory resets, I thought the APK file would disappear as the other APK files do. But this file does not. The APK stays in the embedded file and when I reloaded it in streaming section but using the icon with downward arrow, the APK file is reloaded enmeshed in the Eversolo file. This hybrid file is the one I am using. The true Eversolo file cannot be resurrected until a stronger factory reset is done. Things are fine the way they are but I am more dependent on the APK app than I thought. The API of the “true” AM file doesn’t allow hi rez music and only the APK file does. I stand corrected.

I have a hard time understanding what you mean. There is no "integrating", "embedding" or "enmeshing". The AM within the Eversolo app is one of the music services in the streaming section and can be activated and deactivated there. This one doesn’t do 24/192. A sideloaded AM is in the APPs section and can be uninstalled e.g. via the settings. This one does 24/192.

Depends on the AI. Claude, for instance, is thousands of miles ahead of ChatGPT. But... to use a software-oriented AI, or simply to use AI-generated software, you need to understand of software; otherwise...
There is now limited access to the old simple APK files and downloading XAPK and APKM files are way too confusing to work with, at least for me. An SAI download to Eversolo can be done according to ChatGPT (if you can trust its advice) to sideload the newer form of APK apps. But ChatGPT has confused things before so I hesitate doing what it says. Wouldn’t it be much easier if the knowledgable members of this Forum or even Everolo itself, help make the simple sideloaded APK apps available to us especially for major needs like Apple Music and Sirius XM when there are important updates. Sideloading is not “recognized” I gather by Google but does this idea further break the “rules” and would place Eversolo and the Forum and perhaps even the member in hot water?
Hey, I'll remove this comment to the other thread. The "App" page has some pre-loaded apps and generally they will be updated with firmware update.
