So there´s a Spotify app that´s been adapted for the Android TV experience and i tried sideloading it but as soon as i try to open it, it crashes instantly. Anyone else tried or have a solution to make this run on the Zidoo player(s)? Zidoo players run Android Leanback and not Android TV OS version. You need to look for Android Smartphones APP versions for compatibility. The best/friendliest solution I found by far was running Spotify and other streaming music services on a smartphone and next stream the sound via Bluetooth LDAC straight to the BT enabled DAC Input of my Neo X. The BT LDAC HiFi streaming function comes with Android 8+ on the phone. See my Neo X review Chapter-8 for more details. Some may want to buy a Neo HiFi model specifically for that purpose alone.
