You are sure to be using v1.6.8 Zidoo Controller? Shows up with the connection error #6

 

I have version 1.6.8 installed but it does not work with a Z10 Pro
I can reboot, but if I do OFF I lose the connection

 

Isn't that the purpose of OFF????

Yes when a device is OFF it does not talk to your phone anymore as it is not running IP anymore. That is where WOL is for. You need to use boot every time to start it up again obviously.

Standby is really OFF not a sleepmode.

 

The interest of the WOL is to be able to restart the device when it is in standby, otherwise I do not see what it is for if we have to use the IR remote control for that

 

Yes and that works just fine at least with my Z9S. OFF via the off button of the APP and ON via boot option on Connect History
I am using a WIRED connection as this is a NIC (Ethernet chip) feature.
Just read above you said "I can reboot". I presumed that was using the APP!

 

It's ok, I didn't understand that it was necessary to restart with "boot"

what about bluetooth?can it transmitted audio to any bluetooth speaker device?

 

It can but isn't part of the review as it is nothing new and did not change with the new model. WiFi is not mentioned either.

 

not my regular use but sometimes i want to use my bluetooth headphone
with X9S i cannot use itu coz somehow maybe it only for recieve audio no for transmit
so i think maybe i buy this Z9X since i use a new projector now that support 4K HDR
is that a huge different with X9S and Z9X play a 4k HDR contents?coz if that only a slightly different, i wont upgrade my X9S

Using a 4K HDR projector it does make a difference and an upgrade is probably worthwhile.

Works like a charm. But not with DV obviously just HDR10(+).

 

yes, i`ve tried it, work like a charm since my projector only support HDR10 so forget about DV
but when i set it to VS10 why everything look too bright and make the color washout
havent test it on my LG 4k HDR10 TV just test it on my 4k HDR10 projector benQ W2700
i prefer to set it to HDR10 not Auto, coz it make SDR contents look very nice like HDR, Z9X did a very good job on it, everything looks brighter without loosing the color

one thing i dont like, dont know how the remote up-down-left-right button connected to my projector even W2700 did not have HDMI CEC
Netflix did not sound at all try to set it to PCM and still did not sound
and Z9X also did not have resolution lock
i set it to 2160p 23hz so it did not blink at start when watching a movie (24P)
but if i watch other than 24p content, it switch back to Auto

for me it very worth to upgrade from X9S, dont know about from Z9S
