Hi Zidoo team, i am just wondering if there is a plan to add USB modem support on Zidoo devices? I've plugged in Huawei E3272 4G USB modem to my Zidoo Z9s and it even not being recognized in system as USB modem, it seems that in OpenWRT is missing some packages like 'kmod-usb-net-cdc-ether' and 'usb-modeswitch' to make USB modem working. How can i install this packages? Will it affect other features ? Will it make future firmware upgrade impossible? Thanks in advance.
You should be able to update/upgrade OpenWRT with whatever you like. As it is an independent OS it should not affect the Android environment. Don't ask me how to do this as OpenWRT is a world on its own. It is potentially very powerful but not documented well for simple users. Regular Zidoo FW updates may restore/affect OpenWRT changes made?
