Hi friends, I have a sony av receiver, which is a 7.2 home theatre system. I have downloaded good quality 7.1 true hd files and played through my zidoo z10 player. But strangely whenever the AFF option on the AV receiver is kept in auto, so tht it recognises the input signal on its own and sends the output as 7.1 speaker system, its not working and the maximum recognised signal is for 5.1 channel only. My AV receiver is connected with Zidoo player with HDMI cable. I tried various settings both on Zidoo and AV receiver but none are working. Plz help me resolve this issue - audio pass through of 7.1 channel is not coming on my sony STR-KM 7600 model AV receiver.
I was reading about a similar problem from 2017 on other devices of same brand Zidoo. If the developers are reading this, plz update the firmware or fix the bug, as it is very frustrating after shelling good 20k INR on this.
