Hi! I like to watch movies with original sound, and I use subtitles for translation. When it comes to watching 3D, usually I use SBS or Top+Bottom rips. I use a 3D Optoma projector which has manual switch for SBS/TAP movies. Before I used old Linux-based satellite TV receiver with Enigma 2 software as media server for watching the 3D movies. Worked well for 3D. It had a "3D" switch in software, so all the OSD (menus) was switched to SBS/TAP 3D mode, and the subtitles were displayed BOTH in left and right channels. Also there was a setup line in Menu to move the subtitle bar closer to you, or further away, so it is 'hovering' in the right place. 1. Is there similar function (moving the subtitles bar closer and further away while displaying the subtitles BOTH on left and right picture) on Z9X PRO when watching in SBS/TAP mode? How to switch it on? 2. Is it possible to switch the on-screen display of Z9X PRO to 3D (SBS/TAP) mode? 3. Does the Z9X PRO play the 3D BD rips? If yes, please tell me are the subtitles displayed in comfortable place, not too far and not too close? (I don't have any for test, can't test now). Thanks!
Start the movie, then hit the Menu and go into the context menu options.. see what you find in there... I can't speak to using those types of 3D .... mine are all full resolution MVC / MKV files...and the few ones that have subtitles, I believe work fine.
