Sorry if this is a total noob question.
    I currently have a UHD3000 and a UHD8000 connected to my tv.

One is used strictly for 1080-2160p files and the other is used for ISO files. I have 13 external Harddrives and I found splitting them up between the 2 machines made them run smoother. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong here.

My question is, I have 2 remotes and they both work with both Zidoos. Is there a way to make it where one remote only works with one Zidoo and the other remote only works with the other Zidoo. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thank

Not with IR, no. They all use the same IR codes.

You'd be best controlling with IP - eg with the app where you can choose which device you can control.

The UHD8000 comes with a Bluetooth remote and I think the UHD3000 did too (not 100% sure on that) so you could use Bluetooth and pair each remote separately.

You'd have to isolate the IR receivers on each device though (black tape or similar over the IR sensor) because the BT remotes have IR fallback.

If by chance you have a CI system, you could use RS232 which would give full and bullet proof isolation (that's how I control mine).

Thank you so much! Been trying to figure it out myself but finally had to come and ask the experts. Have a great rest of your weekend
