I have no 2160p material so I really can't help you here. maybe someone else will chime in.
There is a big difference between 1080p & 2160p as to data rates, bandwidth, processing power, codecs etc.

Both of these programs have the same problem(s);
The default aspect ration should be 16x9 or at least a way to change it, not "Fit" which sizes...
