I have been using this player for a few months now and I've been very happy.
However, I have just purchase a dedicated 4k blu ray player which cost £200.
I have been comparing standard and 4k discs on the Blu ray player with remuxed version on the Zidoo.

The picture quality on the 4k blu ray player is a lot better than the remuxed versions. On the Zidoo the picture looks muted. Not as sharp, colours slightly washed out and some light bleed from facial skin tones. Is this normal? Or are there any settings I should be looking at to get the picture more on par with the blu ray player? Thanks

Does your TV support HDR? If not the HDR to SDR conversion on your bluray player is probably better.

It depend on remux, 1:1 remuxed or compress one? Remux 10 or 8 bits?
