I have a MacBook Pro :2014 I have a USB3 cable A-A . But I can not see anything in the laptop I can not use samba . Because I do not have an internet cable only Wireless.
Media Player priced over $ 500 and there is no way to transfer files in the normal way. Something frustrating. How to transfer a file with a size of 50 GB across the network
Only Type-C does auto Host/Slave port detection. With this the USB3c port on the Zidoo becomes a Slave port when connected to e.g. a W10 PC. This works great on another media player I own already (also RTD1295DD based). @AbuSarah Of course the player also supports Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi for transfers using SMB or FTP via OpenWRT.
No problem waiting for update ==== Regarding Transferring SMB or FTP You do this but the time is very long up to 7 hours To move the file . Thank you
I copy my files over the network using a program called Transmit. I just let it transfer my files overnight.
Don't wait for the USB3-C port support on MacBooks I have waited 3 years and no tech support. Always repeat this sentence, we will solve it as soon as possible in the next update
Sorry to bump this old thread but I’m having the same issue with my 2021 MacBook Pro. I connected the Z1000 Pro to my MBP with a USB Type C to Type A cable and I’m not getting anything on my Mac. Do I need to use another USB cable?
