New firmware v1.0.30 for ZIDOO X6 release

it would be much appreciated if Zidoo x6 box correctly switches HDMI mode depending on videofile framerate. And I'm talking not only about Kodi. I'm using Plex with hundreds of movies with different framerates. If i don't set HMDI mode manually according to file's frame rate, I can see lags from time to time.
Please make it work because even my 6years old WDTV Live can do it.

The new firmware isn't even out for 5 days yet and you are already demanding a new version..?
Give them some time, testing bugs takes time, it doesn't happen overnight.

 

I know that. But many people here want to know that. They have reason to worry when Zidoo released a new product, they will forget the old.

 

In Kodi? Autoframerate should run from the native player.

 

From firmware to the firmware changes absolutely nothing. so that they can spread, and every day. They change something only in Kodi. But the fact is that this application is not interesting to me. It is very difficult and buggy. I would even removed it from the firmware. Problems would be less))

 

I believe this has been reported somewhere in the forum , that SMB shares in Media center are broken .. I can access my SMB shares in Kodi and using ES explorer , but not in Media center ... Pls. include the fix in Version .31

See that my Zidoo is getting to start being useful!
Latest firmware no lipsync problems during playback mkv or bdmv in Kodi. Sometimes I get no audio at start of a movie but when I stop and restart mostly audio is back.
3DBD.iso plays fine in Kodi, watched The Martian 3D but was unable to get the Kodi control menu when pressing OK on the remote so could not skip or stop the movie, only the up/down button worked to skip in increments of 10min. playback was flawless without artefacts.
Need to test same movie in android player.

 

Resume function When playing a ISO BR does not work, it asked to resume, i get the playback item menu and select "play main tiltle" the movie starts from the beginning.

Use only Kodi.

Mmmhh, strange. It should works, but you will have problems only with addons (pls see other topics onto).
Which kind of problem do you have ?
Have you tried with different kind of files ? Where are located these files (SD, USB, remote access) ?

I click on icon... I See the the Image "kodi" but after I see only black screen.
After few minute android ask "would you like stop kodi or wait for".
Kodi start but dont work (I cant See the menu).

I try to wait for some minute but nothing... doesnt start.

I run again unroot version FW 1.30 but still problem.

Some idea?

Can I uninstall or reinstall kodi?

I' ve readed all pages and seems version kodi is instable.

You Can try to uninstall in play store. Clean cache and then install kodi play store version.

 

But kodi from play store is different from kodi for zidoo.
And how can I clean then cash?

Is a "rule of thumbs", when an app shows too strange behaviour, to completely remove any configuration data (and cache).
Of course you have to reconfigure Kodi, but for any Android App, if something become corrupted, is the right way.

you do not have to unistall it
go to android settings - apps - kodi
clear cache first and test it
if probmels still exist go to data and clear this
then kodi should be fresh as new installed
...
The best way I guess and I'm doing by myself is
Unistall the kodi apk
Go root/system/preinstall
delete kodi---copy the new kodi (change permission don't forget )
Make factory reset and the new start should be clear
Every factory reset the new kodi will start no the old one
you need to have root for doing this
...

Hi guys, two questions. I have this new FW and I can't find a way to change language of subtitles when downloading subs in Zidoo Theather. Only English. Can I change this to Dutch somewhere? And is there a APK with the Zidoo version of Kodi available to download? I think my Kodi is still the one I had before upgrading to new FW.
