x10 over the air update

    hi can some one help my x10 wont let me do on line update its saying your software is up to date version v1.4.16 but the latest update is v2.0.15 any reason it wont update online

    Follow the instructions on the firmware forum. Download the file to an USB pen drive,cconnect it to the X10 and update it from there:

    But the real question is. Why they don't push the new firmware over OTA? We shouldn't have to do this, and follow the instructions on how to download a new firmware.

    1) money, it cots allot of bandwidth
    2) stability , not all firmware's are stable enough for OTA
