I'm using the Digital Signage Demo (https://github.com/zidootech/ZidooDigitalSignage) on X9S , when we push the button "Digital Signage" shows correct the HDMI input signal , but any variation on quality signal produces app stop fail, in production this means the app exit continusly. I have many X9S, in all the fail is the same, tested with many HDMI Sources and cables.
X9 or X9S, this is the forum for old Zidoo X9. If you have X9S it would be more read in the proper section.
